Call of Brine provides you information before you get the down and could let you know for sure you're getting Eruption value. Obviously the difference between PR and COB is circumstantial because PR affects the generator with the most progress but doesn't ramp up and COB excels when a generator is left alone for a long period of time.

Perks that apply on kick are not applied when you don't kick the gen. To elaborate on this further, this also means they don't work with stuff like Oppression. Overcharge will activate on the gen you kicked, but not the extra 3 that explode from Oppression. Pain Resonance also won't apply it since you don't actually kick anything.

Changing ruin to deactivate on a kill was fine, it didn't need a reduction on the regression rate. If they hadn't killed pop it would literally increase the regression to 22 seconds instead of 20 seconds, now if you get 12s worth of regression is a miracle. It will ramp up quickly and the bonus is that Call of Brine will let you know with a noise notification if someone beat the overcharge skill check. Call of Brine: Only applies to one gen at a time. This makes it harder to just regress 3 different gens at once. It wouldn't really interfere with most gameplay really. Survivors can still tap the gen and what not. You just have to make a conscious choice on if you want one gen to regress more, or you want to regress this one faster.
